special effects (SFX) for tv commercials and movies

Special effects (SFX) are mechanical or chemical techniques for creating an extraordinary appearance. Unlike VFX (video effects), SFX are manually filmed, or recorded with an analogue or digital film camera. The process yields a diverse range of effects, from classic explosions to a macro view of water drops colliding with ground coffee. Reliable repeatability during the film shoot is achieved during the development of the effect and tests to the director’s specifications before the PPM. To achieve this precision, we use motion control, model movers and animatronics, which are methods for controlling the effect through mechanical components and an electronic control.
