Special effects with high-speed camera for tv commercials and movies

High-speed cameras are used in advertising shoots if the filmed product’s characteristics are otherwise not visible. A high-speed second filmed at 1,000 fps (frames per second) is extended to a clip length of 40 seconds by playing it back at 25 fps. Slow motion (or slowmo) sequences are essentially used to lend drama to an image. The Phantom Flex 4K is currently able to shoot 1,000 frames per second in high resolution (4,096 x 2,160 pixels). The extremely short filming timeframe requires a very high level of lighting, which can overheat a product and rig on the film set.
